Alastair Carey, Director of Quantity Surveying for DCWC's WA operations.
We are pleased to introduce Alastair Carey, a newly appointed Director of Quantity Surveying in our Perth office. Alastair has extensive experience across the UK as well as Western Australia's resources and civil engineering sector. In his previous role, Alastair was Owner-Director at Measure Manage, where he ran a small business providing cost management services mainly in the subcontracting space as well as innovative business development support for clients across Australia and in the UK.
With prior roles at companies including Lend Lease and Forge Group, Alastair provided quantity surveying and contracts administration on projects including the $75m Ammonium Nitrate Plant and $280m Cape Lambert Power Station, both in northern WA. He has also worked on the $26 million Pluto LNG Project in the Pilbara region.
“Alastair is a much-welcomed member to our team here in Perth. His entrepreneurial acumen and previous industry experience will enhance our current growth efforts in the resources and infrastructure sector,” said Executive Director, WA & NT, Neil Dickson. “His prior experience in running his own cost management company and supporting subcontractors with their business development initiatives will also positively contribute to DCWC’s WA operations.”
Holding a bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Alastair is a respected member of RICS and AIQS.
Join us in welcoming Alastair Carey to the DCWC family! We’re excited to see his impact on the WA market.
