We are delighted to announce Lina Brikha as the recipient of the 2022 Donald Cant Watts Corke RMIT Scholarship. Awarded at the RMIT University’s Annual Industry, Research and Awards, held online this year, the scholarship will support Lina in pursuing studies in the Property, Construction, and Project Management industries.
Lina is currently studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) (Honours) at RMIT.
We asked Lina a couple of questions about the scholarship and her career aspirations.
What does this scholarship mean to you?
It is sincerely a pleasure to be awarded and chosen for the Donald Cant Watts Corke Scholarship for 2022. I am thankful for the financial support provided. By being awarded the scholarship it has greatly lightened my financial burden which allows me to focus and priorities my studies and other important learning aspects. I am thankful for the generosity Donald Cant Watts Corke has shown and deeply appreciative of the opportunity.
What are your future plans and career aspirations?
My plan for the future is to become a construction manager after completing my studies. I want to work in a professional team and to participate in delivering Australia’s extraordinary projects. My dream is to work around the world and provide significant projects that will have a positive impact on everyone.
Donald Cant Watts Corke is proud of our ongoing relationship with RMIT University and look forward to witnessing the many achievements Lina will make in the industry.
