He is a member of the South African Association of Quantity Surveyors (MASAQS) and has been a Director of another quantity surveying firm in Perth.

Some of his most notable projects include:
•  Belmont Grandstand Redevelopment in Perth;
•  New Perth Stadium and its nearby station;
•  NBN Satellite Earth Stations WA;
•  Northlink WA Stage 3;
•  Queens Riverside QIII Perth;
•  Coles Byford Village Shopping Centre WA;

Internationally, Mario has undertaken projects for the Cape Town International and Athlone Soccer Stadiums in Cape Town, as well as the Table Bay Hotel, One & Only Hotel and Vincent Pallotti Hospital Redevelopment also in South Africa’s southernmost harbour city.

“I am delighted to be joining Donald Cant Watts Corke and excited by the opportunity and challenges that lie ahead,” said Mario Snyman.

“Western Australia is facing economic headwinds but ‘green shoots’ are appearing; and to join Donald Cant Watts Corke in a leadership role, where we are helping our clients solve complex problems and turn their ideas into reality is very satisfying.”

“Bringing Mario on board will enable us to continue to develop and enhance strong relationships with our clients on the west coast. We are committed to ensuring our reputation as trusted advisors is maintained, across all of the services and sectors we specialise in, and with Mario’s expertise we look forward to growing from strength to strength,” added Neil Dickson, Managing Director Western Australia.

Donald Cant Watts Corke prides itself in its national strength, local knowledge, relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring we are appointed as trusted advisors based on the people we contribute to a project.

“I look forward to continuing to make a difference in the Australian construction industry, particularly with a firm such as Donald Cant Watts Corke, where leading by example is at the cornerstone of the company’s success,” explained Mr Snyman.

As Director, Mario will be working closely with Neil Dickson, Managing Director Western Australia, as well as Directors Richard Archer and Niamh O’Connor as well as the broader Perth-based team.
