Donald Cant Watts Corke Project Manager, Andrea Formella, has recently joined the Women in Design and Construction (WIDAC) committee as the Members Relationship Coordinator.
October 2018 - National:
WIDAC is a networking group consisting of women from both the design, construction and related industries who wish to share ideas and collaborate in a social setting.
Andrea has experience in the delivery of large-scale projects across the residential, retail and technology sectors in Australia and Germany. Most recently, Andrea has been involved in data centre projects in NSW and Victoria in which she manages complex construction programs in high-risk environments.
She has strong stakeholder engagement skills and understands the importance of effective cost and program management. Andrea holds a Degree in Architecture from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and worked in client side project management roles before joining the NSW team at Donald Cant Watts Corke.
“As part of the WIDAC committee I have the opportunity to actively be involved in creating a strong network for women in construction. As the Members Relationship Coordinator, I look forward to contributing to the WIDAC community and its members by helping them grow membership numbers, reaching out to industry partners and increasing their engagement for diversity in the industry.”
WIDAC welcomes both females and supporting males to its community. Visit www.widac.com.au/membership for more information.
DCWC acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of this nation. We proudly recognise Elders past and present as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and live.
