DCWC and RP Infrastructure announce merger to create one of Australia’s largest independent property and infrastructure consultancies — 500+ strong

  • Two established Australian property and infrastructure consultancies have come together with more than 90 years of combined experience delivering projects nationwide.

  • End-to-end capability strengthened across project management, quantity surveying and cost management, independent review and certification, investment advisory, procurement and commercial management, and integrated project controls.

  • A single project and delivery partner with more than 500 professionals nationwide, offering the scale, depth and technical expertise to support projects of any size across Australia.

Donald Cant Watts Corke (DCWC) and RP Infrastructure (RPI) today announced a strategic merger, bringing together two of Australia’s most respected property and infrastructure consultancies to create one of the country’s largest independent businesses of its kind.

The partnership brings together more than 350 people from RPI and around 150 from DCWC, creating a combined team of more than 500 people across offices across Australia. Together, the consultancy brings more than 90 years of experience in delivering complex property and infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients across Australia.

Building Australia’s preferred delivery partner

This merger delivers what clients are increasingly asking for — independence, scale, and project certainty delivered through a full-suite client-side service offering, combined with local knowledge.

With a truly national footprint and a broader service offering, the combined business is positioned to become the market’s preferred independent Australian project delivery partner — able to consistently resource even the largest and most complex projects through strong local delivery teams.

Clients can expect improved access to highly specialised senior expertise, the ability to mobilise the right teams faster, and the capacity to deliver major programs with consistent quality, governance and outcomes across Australia.

A stronger, integrated service offering

Together, the two businesses offer a comprehensive suite of independent, client-side services across the full project lifecycle, including:

  • Project management, providing enhanced end-to-end project leadership supported by the combined experience and knowledge base of two industry leaders.

  • Quantity surveying and cost management, adding a 60-year national quantity surveying capability backed by expanded data intelligence, benchmarking and cost-planning resources.

  • Independent review and certification, adding independent verification services for Public–Private Partnership delivery models.

  • Investment advisory, strengthening decision-making, improving project predictability and enabling early identification of risk across all phases of delivery.

  • Procurement and commercial management, enhanced technical capability in developing transaction strategies and managing complex contractual frameworks.

  • Integrated project controls, delivering deeper technical capability to support the planning and delivery of highly complex infrastructure projects.

By bringing these capabilities into a single business, the merger strengthens governance and improves project predictability, enabling clearer decision-making and more consistent outcomes for clients.

Innovation and digital integration

The merger strengthens the firm’s focus on innovation through integrated project intelligence and digital systems. By bringing these capabilities together, clients will benefit from improved reporting, clearer project insights and greater confidence in delivery outcomes.

Strengthened sector crossover

The combined business will operate across social, commercial, industrial, transport, utilities, energy, resources and defence — strengthening market depth and enabling more integrated delivery across portfolios and projects.

Glenn Corke, Managing Director of DCWC said, “For 60 years DCWC has supported clients with strong technical expertise and trusted advice. We have built an organisation with some of the industry's most talented professionals, bringing clarity to the complex nature of our work. Partnering with RP Infrastructure creates a larger, more capable business with expanded reach and expertise to better serve our clients, as well as provide opportunities for the development and growth of our most important asset, our people.”

Brett Magnussen, Chief Executive Officer, RP Infrastructure said, “We’re excited about what this merger means for our clients and our people. RP Infrastructure and Donald Cant Watts Corke share a similar culture, a practical mindset, and a strong focus on project delivery. Bringing our teams together allows us to build value through greater depth and capability, while continuing to provide grounded, client-side advice, alongside greater career opportunities for our people.”
