With over 18 years’ experience in the delivery of major projects in Australia and overseas, James has proven himself a built environment knowledge leader and technical expert. James has comprehensive experience across education, health, retail, aviation and hospitality sectors. James’ background includes client, contractor and consultant roles.

By understanding the unique needs of our clients, James considers each project on its individual merits, whilst bringing his learnings from other major projects to the table.

Since joining Donald Cant Watts Corke in 2008 James has delivered a number of the state’s most complex major projects. An integral member of the Victorian team, James has been responsible for the completion of the Doherty Institute, Melbourne Brain Centre, Parkville and Austin developments and Monash University’s Green Chemical Futures and NRAS and Stage 1 Student Accommodation projects.

James has most recently overseen the completion of Monash University’s new $220M Learning and Teaching Building within their Clayton Campus.

James’ dedication to project deliverables together with his diverse understanding of industry-based design and construction, ensures ongoing client satisfaction and exceptional project results.

Monash University - Biomedical Learning and Teac...

The Biomedical Learning and Teaching Building includes two superlabs, each with a capacity of 240 students together with five additional large teaching laboratories, each with a capacity of 120 students. Every teaching laboratory is supported by breakout spaces along with informal learning spaces. 

Monash University Learning and Teaching Building

Designed by John Wardle Architects, The Learning and Teaching Building forms a new gateway to the southern precinct of Monash University Clayton Campus. Open to all students and staff it is designed to further innovative teaching and learning practices.
