DCWC is dedicated to supporting Australia’s reconciliation journey. We believe that reconciliation will improve our business and ultimately contribute to creating a sustainable, vibrant, and connected future for all Australians.
At DCWC, our commitment to reconciliation has been an ongoing journey. While we previously implemented a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), it expired in 2023. Since then, we’ve been working to create a new and meaningful approach. By late 2024, we decided to pivot away from developing a certified RAP and instead focus on creating our own Indigenous Engagement Plan (IEP). This shift allows us to embrace a more genuine, realistic and achievable pathway to reconciliation, tailored to the size and capabilities of our business, and underpinned by four key goals:
“DCWC has demonstrated a clear national commitment to developing strong relationships with First Australians businesses and encouraging more opportunities for First Australians employment. It has been a positive experience to work with an invested Australian-owned company towards this commitment”.— Dwayne Good, Founder of InTravel Group
DCWC acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of this nation. We proudly recognise Elders past and present as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and live.
