Kedron State High School’s new Performing Arts Centre redefines music and arts education, offering state-of-the-art facilities and dynamic, purpose-built spaces that inspire creativity and excellence.
The Queensland Department of Education engaged DCWC to provide Superintendent, Project Management, and Cost Management services for the development of a purpose-built Performing Arts Centre (PAC) at Kedron State High School, Park Road, Kedron. Replacing outdated facilities, the PAC now supports the school’s rapidly growing Music and Arts program with innovative spaces tailored for performing arts education.
The project included demolishing Blocks I and J to clear the site for the new PAC. During construction, D-Block and E-Block have been temporarily fitted out to house the music and arts departments. Upon completion of the PAC, D-Block will be transformed into new General Learning Areas (GLA), and E-Block will feature an expanded staffroom.
