This project signifies a substantial investment in the future of education, aiming to enhance the learning environment for students.

We’re proud to have partnered with repeat client Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) and Our Lady of the Visitation for the Stage 2 development of the school’s ambitious Master Plan, delivering comprehensive Cost Management services.

The Stage 2 development included various essential upgrades, including a new General Learning Area (GLA) building with six GLAs, withdrawal and quiet rooms, a shared breakout space, and student amenities. Additionally, a covered outdoor learning area was designed to foster interactive and experiential learning. We also relocated existing transportable buildings to optimise space utilisation, refurbished the hall to modernise facilities for community events and school functions, and constructed a new storage shed to enhance operational efficiency.

Ensuring student safety and maintaining uninterrupted school operations were our top priorities throughout the project. This required meticulous planning across all stages of construction. Our approach included detailed staging and sub-staging strategies to minimise disruption to school activities, strict adherence to safety protocols to protect students, staff, and the surrounding community, and the development of robust and responsive cost plans that reflected both the project’s complexity and the need for flexibility in decision-making.

Our ongoing success with CESA and Our Lady of the Visitation was attributed to several key factors. We nurtured long-standing partnerships with CESA, the school, and the wider project team, ensuring clear communication and shared objectives. We provided well-researched cost-saving options and value management insights, which enabled rapid decision-making to keep the project on track. Our team was diligent in identifying and mitigating cost risks, ensuring that we delivered the project without unexpected financial surprises.

The Stage 2 development at Our Lady of the Visitation not only enhanced the physical learning environment but also exemplified our commitment to providing exceptional cost management services. We look forward to continuing our partnership with CESA and contributing to the future successes of the school community.
