The team here at Donald Cant Watts Corke extend a very warm welcome our newest colleague - Janine Jonathan. Having joined us all the way from Johannesburg, Janine has recently settled in Adelaide with her partner and two children. Janine joins Donald Cant Watts Corke’s South Australian office as Senior Cost Manager. With over 13 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor across mining, infrastructure, energy, commercial and residential, Janine has held roles in South Africa at Aurecon, Zutari and Engie and most recently at QTC Quantity Surveyors, an all-female, black-owned company which she proudly co-founded with a former colleague.
Having consciously avoided the Project Management pathway requiring regular visits to often noisy and congested construction sites, Janine initially preferred the quiet surrounds of an office to undertake her role as a Quantity Surveyor. However, after successfully co-founding her own business, in recent years Janine has spent more time onsite which she believes has positively impacted her work as a Quantity Surveyor by providing broad exposure to the intricacies of the construction management industry.
She is incredibly excited about this next step in her career, and eager to contribute to the continued growth of Donald Cant Watts Corke. Janine is also looking forward to enjoying and exploring the beautiful surrounds of Adelaide and South Australia with her partner and children.
Janine, welcome to the DCWC family!
