Join us in congratulating Mark Freestone on his recent promotion to Executive Director, Queensland. During his time as Director and Head of Quantity Surveying, Mark has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

DCWC would also like to acknowledge the efforts and thank the outgoing Executive Director, Bill Douglas for his 10 years of leadership. Bill will continue with DCWC in the capacity of Director on some of our major health projects as well as providing mentorship and support to our Queensland team.

Extending on his excellent skills in feasibility, cost planning, and comparative cost analysis, in his new role Mark’s primary focus for FY24 will be to drive growth in the Queensland market, along with a strong focus on DCWC’s diversity and inclusion initiatives. “Covid provided us with the opportunity to fully test our flexible working arrangements. The next step is for us to demonstrate our commitment to diversity and inclusion through the development of a more inclusive workplace culture,” said Mark. “Whilst we have numerous practices in place, I want to make sure they are inclusive for all when it comes to both our employees and our valued clients.”

Congratulations again to Mark on his well-deserved promotion to Executive Director of QLD. We have full confidence in his leadership abilities and look forward to witnessing his continued success in driving growth and excellence for DCWC.
