We offer intern opportunities to talented students who wish to complement their tertiary education with a comprehensive practical program. Many of our interns have become industry leaders within our firm and elsewhere in the wider construction industry, both here and overseas.
Our intern program is suited to those who are seeking a long-term, exciting and fulfilling career in the fields of Quantity Surveying, Cost Management and Project Management.

Applicants must be enrolled in a recognised tertiary course in Construction or Project Management, and can be in any year of study, from first through to final year. Internships can be undertaken either part-time or full-time, depending upon course load and timetable.

Overview of Internship Positions
Junior Project Coordinator | Project Management Team
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to Directors, Associate Directors and Project Managers on various building or infrastructure projects as directed.
Key responsibilities include:
Construction and project delivery support
Design coordination and technical support
Liaise with internal and external project team members (i.e. engineering consultants, architects, building surveyors, quantity surveyors and other contractors) as necessary
Project planning, tendering, monitoring and procurement support
Attend site inspections and safety walks
Junior Quantity Surveyor | Quantity Surveying Team
The purpose of this role is to provide quantity surveying and other associated services to Directors, Associate Directors and Quantity Surveyors on various building projects as directed.
Key responsibilities include:
Measurement of quantities in assisting the preparation of preliminary estimates, cost plans and bills of quantities
Assistance with contract administration services
Provide assistance to the team on any post-contract work
Support preparation of post-contract certificates, tax depreciation schedules and bank reports
Quality Assurance documentation support
Junior Quantity Surveyor | Infrastructure Team
The purpose of this role is to provide quantity surveying and other associated services to DCWC's national Infrastructure team on various infrastructure projects as directed.
Key responsibilities include:
Measurement of quantities in assisting the preparation of preliminary estimates, cost plans and bills of quantities
Assistance with contract administration services
Provide assistance to the team on any post-contract work
Support preparation of post-contract certificates, tax depreciation schedules and bank reports
Quality Assurance documentation support
