Coolum State High School underwent an exciting expansion, with DCWC proudly providing project management services for the Queensland Department of Education.
Collaborating with architects COBiE Group and builders Paynters, DCWC ensured the successful delivery of this transformative project. The expansion included the construction of a brand new two-storey General Learning Centre, new general learning areas, and science laboratories within an existing building undercroft. Additionally, a single-storey extension to the Administration Block was completed in time for the start of Term 1, 2023. The project also delivered two new multi-purpose courts, the redevelopment of existing courts, and a new maintenance shed.
These state-of-the-art facilities were designed and built to meet the growing demands of the Coolum State High School community, providing world-class education infrastructure. As project managers, DCWC played a key role in overseeing the planning and delivery of these contemporary spaces, supporting the Department of Education’s mission to equip Queensland students for their journey towards higher education.
