We’re thrilled to provide Project Management, Superintendency, and Quantity Surveying services for Frasers Property Australia's Build-to-Rent (BTR) development ‘Brunswick & Co’ in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley.
This project will introduce an elegant, high-density apartment complex to the vibrant local urban landscape. Featuring 366 residences, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments within a 25-storey building, a significant proportion will be offered at affordable rates.
BTR housing refers to properties specifically designed for rental purposes, owned by a single entity, and managed by professionals. Unlike traditional rental properties, these units focus exclusively on long-term tenancy agreements. Although this model originated in the US and UK, it is becoming increasingly popular in Australia as a solution to the rising cost of living and high interest rates.
Designed by Cox Architecture, the project ensures a thoughtfully curated blend of amenities that foster communal spaces, emphasising a connected vertical community that promotes wellness and a sense of belonging. Key features of Brunswick & Co include a variety of residential options catering to diverse household types, ground-floor retail spaces, and an integrated lobby café that extends the vibrancy of Brunswick Street into the building.
Additionally, the building will provide co-working spaces and a fitness studio for residents to support health and flexible work arrangements. A communal recreation area on the 25th floor will feature a beautifully landscaped rooftop and a resort-style pool, offering breathtaking views of the city and surrounding landscapes. The project's design incorporates face brick in the podium façade, paying homage to local heritage buildings and ensuring a seamless blend with its surroundings.
Brunswick & Co, currently under construction by Hutchinson Builders, is expected to reach practical completion in 2025.
