Donald Cant Watts Corke recently celebrated the Stage 1 completion of Sky Road West at Melbourne Airport.

The project extended Sky Road to enable access to the new Speculative Warehouse and provides road and service infrastructure for future Melbourne Airport Business Park Developments. The construction phase of the project lasted for approximately 7 months and included:

  • Construction of approximately 500m of a two-way, single lane road and associated street furniture
  • Installation of stormwater drainage and a new sewer main
  • Installation of a HV Kiosk and a LV Switchboard and associated infrastructure to provide final power to the Speculative Warehouse Project tenants
  • Future provisions for data cabling and communication services

With Stage 1 complete and demand for future sites high, the DCWC project team are now transitioning into Stage 2 which involves an additional 500m of two-way, single lane road and associated infrastructure. Stage 2 is scheduled to be completed by March 2024.
