DCWC Cadet and RMIT Scholarship recipient Rajab Rezaei with Steve Johnson, Executive Director, Quantity Surveying - VIC
RMIT University's School of Property, Construction and Project Management (PCPM) recently held its annual Industry and Research Awards night. The evening recognises outstanding academic results and acknowledgement of their 2023/24 scholarship providers and recipients.
Executive Director, Quantity Surveying - VIC, Steve Johnson was proud to present Rajab Rezaei, the 2023 recipient of our RMIT Scholarship, with a certificate of achievement. Since 2016, DCWC has provided an annual scholarship for a RMIT Construction or Project Management student from an under-represented group in the community with demonstrated circumstances that have significantly impact their study.
"We're very proud to have awarded Rajab with the Donald Cant Watts Corke Scholarship for 2023, and also have him join our cadet program," said Steve Johnson. "He's been such a valuable asset to our team, learning practical skills to complement his studies, and we look forward to his progression within the business."
Rajab is currently in his final year studying Project Management at RMIT and working as a Cadet with our Quantity Surveying team.
Seline Mizzi, a talented Project Management Cadet at DCWC, was also honored on the night. She was the recipient of the 'Empowered Women in Trades Poster Award' for her outstanding research poster on female participation in the construction and manufacturing industries.
Applications for the 2024 Donald Cant Watts Corke scholarship close on Tuesday, 31 October. To learn more and apply, visit RMIT's scholarship page.
