The Construction Students Association (CSA) helps advocate and support Construction students at the University of Melbourne, by providing career and networking events such as their annual Industry Night, which was recently held on May 4th.
DCWC is thrilled to collaborate with CSA for their Industry Night event, helping support students and emerging professionals by sharing our knowledge as an independent construction service provider. A big thank you to CSA and the University of Melbourne for hosting the event. It is a great opportunity for students, graduates and industry professionals to network and encourage professional development through the minds of tomorrow's leaders.
Steve Johnson, Executive Director of Quantity Surveying, and Andrew Loh, Director of Infrastructure were among a room filled with builders, developers, consultants, and other industry bodies in the field of construction, property and engineering.
Events like this provide students access to industry leaders and exposes them to opportunities and environments that help harness and advance their learnings and skills. DCWC look forward to our next event and wish all students and graduates the best as they take the first steps towards a satisfying and stimulating career path.
DCWC’s ongoing relationship with the University of Melbourne has seen many collaborations over the years. We are dedicated to supporting the development of tomorrow's leaders through these collaborations. Our commitment towards investing in the future of our industry is also seen through our highly successful cadet program.
Our cadet program is ideally suited to those who are seeking a long term, exciting and fulfilling career in the fields of Quantity Surveying, Cost Management and Project Management. The program offers a balance between work and study commitments, with the ability to work on some of the most interesting and challenging projects within Australia.
Many of our cadets have become industry leaders within our firm and elsewhere in the wider Construction Industry.
