The Hills Shire Council redeveloped the existing Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre to include four swimming pools and a splash play area, a large gym and fitness space, a café and retail area, basement car parking, and associated site facilities.

Located in Baulkham Hills, northwest of Sydney, the transformation of the centre features a FINA-standard Olympic-sized 50-metre pool with a total of 10 lanes, a 25-metre indoor learn-to-swim and family leisure pool, a new swimming clubhouse, and an additional 20-metre warm water pool that includes spa and sauna facilities. The redevelopment will also provide new reception, retail, and management facilities, as well as a large gym and fitness centre.

DCWC was engaged to provide comprehensive Quantity Surveying services from the initial concept design through to project delivery. This included cost planning services from feasibility through to tender, assisting the Council in selecting a contractor within the target budget. As construction progresses, we continue to provide proactive cost reports and contract administration services to support the successful delivery of this community project.
