Our team is proud to have delivered Superintendent services for the City of Armadale's Piara Waters Library project, located on Whadjuk Nation.

Strategically positioned next to the Piara Waters Pavilion and adjacent sports facility, the result is a vibrant community hub catering to diverse needs and interests. One of the library’s standout features is its innovative external pivoting walls on the southern façade. These walls can open to flood the interior with natural light, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

Designed by Hunt Architects, the library features over 1,000 square meters of thoughtfully designed spaces, creating a welcoming environment that brings together people of all ages:

Computer and Study Zone
This zone supports learning and research with public computers and digital resources, promoting digital literacy for visitors. It also includes dedicated spaces for focused study, group collaboration, and quiet reflection.

Library Wing
The library wing offers a variety of book displays, cozy seating options, and a children’s area designed to inspire creativity and curiosity through playful, engaging features. Adjacent to this space, multi-functional meeting rooms with operable walls provide flexibility for presentations, study groups, or community meetings.

Youth Area
The youth space empowers young people with dedicated facilities for creativity, gaming, performance, and study. Features include a creative workroom, gaming zone, performance stage, and computing space, all designed to foster curiosity, self-expression, and meaningful connections among local youth.

The Library also includes:

  • A collection of 25,000 books, DVDs, and learning resources
  • A dedicated youth area with creative and performance facilities
  • Flexible meeting rooms available for after-hours events
  • Fully accessible amenities

By serving as a central hub for residents of all ages, the Library promises to enrich the lives of those in the City of Armadale for years to come.
