Written by DCWC Team | June 28, 2018

Earlier this month, members of our Leadership Team, took a tour of the brand new early learning centre at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI) – an institute we proudly support as one of our CSR initiatives.

Opened by the Victorian Minister for Early Childhood Education the Hon. Jenny Mikakos, the Professor Lynn Corcoran Early Learning Centre is “Australia’s first childcare centre built and owned by an independent medical research institute”, established on-site for its staff and students – “a landmark achievement for the medical research sector and for gender equity in science.”  (Source:

Our Victorian Quantity Surveying team is proud to have been engaged on this milestone project, and to continue the strong relationship we have with WEHI, having undertaken the Institute’s redevelopment a number of years ago.
