The HIC will feature approximately 14,000sqm of research and teaching facilities, integrating the College of Health and Biomedicine with the Research faculties.
The program involves relocating the College of Health and Biomedicine from the St. Albans Campus to Footscray Park. A new building will be constructed on the current Building C site, providing specialised spaces essential for the College's learning and teaching needs.
To support this transition, DCWC is developing a space solution strategy that will allow for the decanting of Building C, along with parts of adjacent Building D and Building G. This strategy involves complex interdependent refurbishments across five defined works packages, including the delivery of refurbished office and learning spaces over a four-year period.
DCWC are delivering against a detailed works program to ensure timely completion and handover to minimise disruption to university operations.
