The Queensland Department of Education has enlisted DCWC’s services to provide comprehensive Project Management, Superintendency, and Programme Management support for this innovative vertical school.

The project focuses on the construction of a new Senior Campus facility, known as SCSHS/SC, Stage 1. This stage encompasses several key elements, including the development of three Teaching and Learning Buildings. These buildings will house both General and Specialist learning spaces, providing a versatile educational environment. Additionally, a Technical Workshops Building, Multipurpose Sports Building with under croft car parking, and an Administration Building will be constructed to support the school's various functional requirements.

Enhancing the overall campus, the project also includes the creation of external landscaped amenity spaces, car parking facilities, and access/egress roads within the site. New access/egress cross-overs at site entrances/exits, a drop-off/pick-up road, and the reconfiguration of car parking areas within the adjacent TAFE site are part of the development plan. Furthermore, the project entails upgrading and reconfiguring existing roads external to the site, including the implementation of signalised road junctions to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.

Looking ahead to Stage 2 of the Senior Campus facility, the project brief outlines the construction of an additional Teaching and Learning Building, incorporating General and Specialist learning areas. Furthermore, a Performing Arts Centre will be built, providing a dedicated space for creative and cultural activities.
