Project overview

Client

South Metropolitan Health Service WA

The Department of Health then developed a Clinical Services Framework (CSF) 2010 - 2020 to guide the reconfiguration of public hospital services both in metropolitan Perth and in rural Western Australia.

The reconfiguration of WA's public hospital services is a substantial and complex undertaking involving not only changes to infrastructure but also affording the opportunity to facilitate workforce reform and significantly enhance the way services are delivered across metropolitan Perth and Western Australia.

Our Health Advisory team is leading the development and supporting the implementation of a comprehensive Reconfiguration Plan in relation to the alignment of seven health service sites across South Metropolitan Health Service. As part of this process a new Governance Framework, Clinical Leadership Framework and Change Management Strategy have been created and implemented, and a Project Management Office established to integrate all 400 reconfiguration activities required to deliver a new service profile.
