The state-of-the-art hospital encompasses 298 beds and is WA’s only paediatric trauma centre and integrated research and education facility, including the Telethon Kids Institute. It also includes other services that were provided by Princess Margaret Hospital, including rehabilitation services and specialist burns and oncology units.

DCWC provided Quantity Surveying Services in the planning phase and  throughout the delivery of this project.

This project forms the cornerstone of the Western Australian State Government’s investment in delivering major infrastructure for future generations. We worked closely with the Office of Strategic Projects, key stakeholders and the Managing Contractor, to ensure the success of the project.

The overall development consisted of:

  • 298 bed hospital with 75 per cent single rooms
  • Paediatric care and research facility
  • State-of-the-art emergency care
  • Outdoor facilities
