NEXTDC is a rapidly growing Data Centre Operator in Australia, known to have designed and delivered high quality data centres certified to the industry’s highest standards and delivered in record time.
Their P2 Perth, a hyperscale cloud colocation facility located in Perth's CBD, will deliver 10,000 square meters of technical space and 20 Megawatts of power to the West Australian economy, further extending NEXTDC’s world-class operation of data centres across Australia.
Donald Cant Watts Corke was appointed for Project Management, Superintendency, and Quantity Surveying consultants for the life cycle of the project. As a crucial piece of digital infrastructure for Western Australia, we’re delighted to provide our services and to bring this innovative building to life.
The data centre features six data hall levels and two levels of electrical infrastructure. Other features of the project include backup power generation capable of ensuring 100% uptime, perimeter security, basement services, car parking, and customer experience office facilities.
P2 has been designed with a focus on sustainability, renewable energy, and guaranteed power supply. NEXTDC delivers the highest possible levels of energy efficiency showcasing NABERS 4.5 star and Uptime Institute Tier 4 certification.
The project was delivered ahead of schedule and within the allocated budget.
