New Museum for WA

Written by DCWC Team | Feb 5, 2019 12:27:00 AM

The New Museum for WA in Perth is set to be significantly larger than the existing WA Museum, providing new galleries, including a new 1,000m2 Temporary Exhibitions Gallery, amenities, retail, cafe and public spaces.

Located in the Perth Cultural Centre in Northbridge, the project will integrate a new
state-of-the-art building with the Museum’s existing heritage buildings to create contemporary and innovative visitor experiences.

For over 120 years, the Western Australian Museum has been making the State’s natural and social heritage accessible and engaging through research, exhibitions and public programs. The New Museum for Western Australia is one of the most significant museum redevelopments in the world today, expected to be completed by 2020.

Donald Cant Watts Corke (WA) provided the Government of Western Australia with business case development and project definition plan in the planning of the New Museum of Western Australia. We are currently providing full quantity surveying services to Multiplex; supporting the procurement of works, subcontracts as well as the preparation of works package offers and the Stage Two Offer.
