Accommodating 1000 students, the four new residential buildings comprise functional studio apartments, College Head and Deputy College Head apartments, floor lounges, common rooms, games rooms and associated support facilities including laundry and bike store. The self-contained apartments allow students the independence of living self-sufficiently in a safe and social environment, or to mingle with others within the buildings common facilities.
Creating a community for students, communal spaces, shops, cafes and an outdoor cinema will also form part of the development within the heart of the Clayton Campus.
Donald Cant Watts Corke managed the preparation of the D & C performance specification and tender documents in a tight time frame. We also managed the development of the design and 5 star ESD objectives
