Donald Cant Watts Corke is providing Quantity Surveying Services for the Canterbury South Public School redevelopment.

The NSW Government is investing $7 billion over the next four years, continuing its program to deliver more than 200 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW. This is the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

Canterbury South Public School is one of 200 schools getting upgraded to provide students and teachers with the resources they need to succeed now and into the future.

The redevelopment will involve the expansion of the original school by creating a three-storey learning facility with 30 state of art classrooms, along with upgrades to core facilities such as:

  •  a new building with 30 learning and teaching spaces

  •  a new administration building

  •  a new library

  •  a new hall

  •  a new canteen

  •  a covered outdoor learning area

  •  upgraded landscaping

The NSW team is providing Quantity Surveying Services for phases 4 & 6-9 of the redevelopment for Schools Infrastructure NSW, which will increase the current enrolment capacity to 690 students to accommodate the growing community.

Preliminary works have been completed, which include the demolition and installation of new services. The project is due for completion 2022.
