Broken Hill Health Service Redevelopment

Written by DCWC Team | Apr 10, 2019 5:32:00 AM

Originally built in 1889, Broken Hill Base Hospital is one of New South Wales’ oldest rural referral centres servicing the western region of the state.

The major renewal of the facility included upgrading areas of the main hospital and construction of a new modular Community Health Centre.

The NSW Government’s $30 Million new Health Centre comprises of a five-chair dental health facility; child, family and community health services; and new staff offices. The main building upgrade included the reconfiguration of the hospital’s ambulatory care wing to expand cancer care services and consolidate waiting areas for patients.

DCWC proudly provided Quantity Surveying services for the Broken Hill Health Service Redevelopment.
