The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, home to the new You Can Centre, is Queensland’s first public specialised centre for 15 to 25-year-olds fighting cancer.

The development was a joint project of the Sony Foundation, the Queensland Government and the Metro North Hospital and Health Service.

DCWC is proud to have provided Quantity Surveying services for this important health facility.

Designed as “a social haven away from the hospital wards with relaxation areas”, the centre encompasses areas for study, yoga, an outdoor courtyard and spaces for young people to be together providing peer support.
