Webb Dock West Auto Terminal Facility

CLIENT:Port of Melbourne Corporation (POMC) / MIRAAT

VALUE:Confidential

COMPLETION:2016

The Webb Dock West Auto Terminal Facility project is set to improve the functionality of the Port of Melbourne with the consolidation of all automotive vehicle imports through a single facility.

Currently spread across three terminals, the new roll-on, roll-off automative terminal will streamline the disembarkment of automative trade.

Donald Cant Watts Corke, in conjunction with JMP is providing Independent Verification services for the 16 month comission, as part of the Port of Melbourne’s Capacity Project.

As the nations largest automative port terminal, The Port of Melbourne handled more than 370,000 vehicles in 2013 and capacity is expected to increase significantly with forcasted demand expected to reach 600,000 cars by 2025.

It is anticipated that together with the new pre-delivery inspection hub, the Webb Dock West Automative Terminal Project will reduce the number of vehicle transport trucks traveling through the Westgate corridor.

"Quote here about something related to the project, could be a few lines long or maybe just two lines long to keep it simple."
