DCWC’s review team assessed the composition, condition and financial performance of UCQ’s extensive building asset portfolio in line with its Facilities Management (FM) capability.
Our remit included finding cost efficiencies that will not impact the level of FM service delivery and may improve it.
We developed an Action Plan that outlines approximately $10.3 million in cost savings over the next five years and will ensure consistency in FM service delivery.
DCWC supported UCQ to develop more reliable asset information to improve strategy development and decision-making. We filled key information gaps such as developing the Asset Replacement Value (ARV) for UCQ’s building assets.
This enabled the team to benchmark the financial performance of individual sites and total maintenance expenditure and provided UCQ with an appropriate yardstick to measure the current financial performance of its FM service.
