Queensland University of Technology, Library Upgrade, Kelvin Gove Campus

CLIENT:Queensland University of Technology

VALUE:$12.3M

BUILDER:Kane Constructions

ARCHITECT:Peddle Thorp and James Cubitt Architects Joint Venture

The 'mid-life' upgrade of the Kelvin Grove Library has seen a complete transformation of the library originally constructed in the 1970's.

DCWC provided full quantity surveying services during the upgrade. The redevelopment was within a 'live' library and campus and included staged relocation of staff and student facilities.

The refurbished library has become a key element in the heart of the Kelvin Grove Campus, and complements existing learning and social opportunities for students.
