Recognised as an integral part of the regional and state infrastructure, the project secured priority status in the Regional Australia Far North Roadmap and Strategic Infrastructure Plan for South Australia.

The Complex offers a range of facilities for the community, including a multifunction sports hall with basketball courts and retractable seating, football oval, gymnasium and sporting club amenity, community and function rooms, café and 12 indoor/outdoor netball courts design to Regional League standards.
