In partnership with Deakin University and the design team, Donald Cant Watts Corke provided full cost management services to deliver this 7,750m² state of the art engineering faculty and teaching building at the University’s Waurn Ponds campus.

Deakin CADET provides students with a 21st century engineering education. Facilities include 3D modelling, digital manufacturing, rapid prototyping, high voltage laboratories, visualisation technologies and administration areas. 

The $55Million Centre, partially funded by the government, was officially opened by the Minister for Education, Simon Birmingham.  

A high tech building, CADET incorporates the latest thinking in engineering teaching and laboratory spaces, together with administration facilities. Throughout the course of the project particular attention was given to practical environmentally sustainable design features.
