Seeking solutions from the development market, Victoria Police sought a purpose-built environment that would meet the needs of their various units. Critical to the success of this project was the assurance that Crime and Intelligence Departments would be able to efficiently and effectively deliver their services to their response zones.
Completed in 2015, and designed and constructed to exacting security and resilience standards, the new City West Police Complex showcases a positive urban environment in Melbourne’s CBD. Incorporating creative landscaping, the new 15-storey building accommodates 1,500 law enforcement officials, as well as a 2.5 storey basement facility constructed above Melbourne’s City Loop Train Tunnel Network.
