Located in Ararat, 200 kilometres west
of Melbourne, Hopkins Correctional Centre
is a fully equipped medium security
correctional facility.

The new facility is an extension of the existing prison, comprising 350 male beds and eight continued detention beds. The project was completed under a public private partnership agreement.

Donald Cant Watts Corke provided Independent Reviewer, Independent Certifier and Financier's Engineer services during the construction phase. Full cost management services were also provided for all capital and life cycle costs through the Masterplanning and Feasibility stages.

This project was a key part of the progressive upgrade of Victoria's correctional system and will provide correctional services to meet future projected prisoner growth.

"Quote here about something related to the project, could be a few lines long or maybe just two lines long to keep it simple."
