The Northern Beaches Hospital opened its doors to patients on Tuesday, October 30.
Donald Cant Watts Corke provided Financial Certification and Quantity Surveying services for Healthscope’s $1 billion hospital project.
The public and private facility is the first major health infrastructure project on the Northern Beaches. Incorporating 488 hospital beds, a large integrated emergency department, state-of-the-art intensive and critical care units and a modern inpatient mental health care facility, the nine-storey development will set a new benchmark for healthcare.
Over the next few days, patients from the existing Manly and Mona Vale Hospitals will be transferred to the new facility.
To read more about this project, see our Northern Beaches Hospital project page.
DCWC acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of this nation. We proudly recognise Elders past and present as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and live.
