The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to champion and empower women in the construction and related industries to reach their full potential. Formed in 1995, NAWIC provides a forum for its members to meet and exchange information, ideas and solutions.
As part of our Group’s 2020 vision, we are aiming to increase female representation at all levels of the organisation and we want to recognise the importance of women in our business and within the industry.
This month NAWIC will announce the winners for their NSW Awards of Excellence for 2017. NSW Managing Director Chris Cusack and NSW Director Paul Tomsic, have been given the exciting opportunity to judge and award.
Sponsored by Lendlease, Chris will be on the judging panel for the Crystal Vision Award, whilst Paul will be on the judging panel for the University Scholarship sponsored by CBRE. These are very prestige awards and both Directors are honoured to be a part of the final decision.
Our very own Madison Molloy has been nominated for the Procore Scholarship for Future Leaders, so please wish her the best of luck!
Donald Cant Watts Corke supports all female colleagues by providing them with memberships to this association.
We continue to proudly promote Donald Cant Watts Corke's partnership with this great organisation.
The NSW NAWIC Awards of Excellence will be held this Thursday 24th August.
