19 April 2018, Queensland -

Three members of the Donald Cant Watts Corke team in Brisbane attended the Leading Women in Property breakfast meeting this week, hosted by the Property Council of Australia. Attendees were treated to a breakfast spread while listening to a selection of industry experts who focused on the theme of "creating career momentum".

The event is part of an ongoing national commitment to champion diversity across all sectors of the industry and ensure Property Council of Australia initiatives are accessible to emerging women leaders. Althea Cousins, Crystal Liew and Lefoko Kombani made up the Donald Cant Watts Corke delegation and found the morning to be overwhelmingly positive and motivational, having left with a number of useful takeaways for the office in Brisbane.

The speakers on the day were made up of some of Australia's leading talent in the property industry, including Prue Gilbert, CEO and Founder of Grace Papers, David Rokesky, Global Human Resources Director, Turner and Townsend and Kirsty Macfarlane, Head of Diversity and Inclusion, National Australia Bank, who shared her own inspiring story of using the middle-years of a career as a launch pad.

Donald Cant Watts Corke is committed to supporting gender diversity and female representation in the property and construction industry, especially within leadership groups. Safeguarding a balanced level of gender diversity, we are proud to have strong female representation at all levels of our organisation, including on our Group Board of Directors

We recognise the value in celebrating women’s contribution in our industry and we applaud the Property Council of Australia for this initiative.
