We are delighted to announce Mohammad Sharif as the recipient of the 2021 Donald Cant Watts Corke RMIT Scholarship.

The awards, which are presented each year at RMIT University’s Annual Industry, Research and Awards, were held last night virtually. The scholarship will provide Mohammad added financial support and industry mentoring, to assist in pursuing his studies in the Property, Construction and Project Management industries.

Mohammad is currently studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) at RMIT. We asked Mohammad a couple of questions about the scholarship and his career aspirations.

Q&A with Mohammad

What does this scholarship mean to you?

“It’s an honour to be chosen for the Donald Cant Watts Corke Scholarship at RMIT for 2021. I'm truly grateful for the support. This scholarship will allow me to worry less about my financial situation and focus more on my studies. This scholarship will also encourage me to prioritise my study, as I feel I have been supported. Once again, I thank Donald Cant Watts Corke for providing this support, I really appreciate it.”

What are your future plans and career aspirations?

“My plans are to complete my study and become a Project Manager in the future. My goals are to work in a professional field and be part of important projects around Australia. I want to be part of a team and it is my dream to work within a team and deliver significant projects with a positive impact on the country and community.” Said Mohammad.
