The new purpose-built, 230 bed hospital includes 96 paediatric beds, 12 dedicated children’s cancer day beds, 20 same day beds, 10 paediatric intensive care beds and 30 neonatal intensive care beds.

Family-friendly consulting rooms, operating theatres, rehabilitation areas, allied health therapy spaces and a diagnostic imaging suite were also delivered.

MCH is Victoria’s only hospital to provide foetal surgery and thalassemia treatment.
Utilising the most advanced medical equipment, the hospital will treat more than 7000 patients every year and provide children in Melbourne’s south-east with healthcare closer to home.

Through stringent Cost Management, our team are proud to have yielded good tender savings which were re-invested back into the project to provide additional areas and spaces.Monash Childrens New resized for web.jpg
