The building also incorporates a cutting edge MRI imaging facility designed to accommodate a future 7 Tesla MRI scanner, an advancement in MRI imaging so new there are none yet operating in Australia and only a handful worldwide.

Some of the challenges overcome during the project were resolving technical difficulties with the complex GRC façade, management of multiple stakeholders as well as leading the procurement and installation of two MRI scanners into the building.

The overall project consists of three levels, which incorporate an imaging suite, consulting suites, offices and a PC2 laboratory over 5,200m2.
