In 2009, ACMI underwent a major redevelopment. This $9 million project included additional exhibition spaces, two state-of-the-art production studios, a culture resource centre and permanent interactive exhibition.

Donald Cant Watts Corke provided cost planning for the project along with integrated base building fitout and exhibition display works, which were undertaken on site concurrently with multiple contractors.
