Managing Director, Infrastructure

Monday 27 November 2017 - National:

Donald Cant Watts Corke has announced their new Group Board of Directors, at their biannual Group Strategic Workshop.

The Board expands to a total of seven members, including a new external Director and two internal Managing Directors promoted to the Board.

Shane Tanner continues as Chairman, whilst Leanne Beveridge joins the Board as Non-Executive Director, replacing Guy Sigston who served for five years.

“I am pleased to join the Board of Donald Cant Watts Corke and look forward to making a positive contribution to the ongoing strategic direction of the company,” said Ms Beveridge.

“Leanne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, particularly across People, Development and Communications, within the construction industry, and represents a much-welcomed addition to our Leadership Group,” said Mr Tanner.

Glenn Corke, Group Managing Director, continues to sit on the Board, alongside Managing Directors Stephen McCoullough, VIC Quantity Surveying, and Alan Findlater, VIC Project Management.

Richard Archer who has now retired stands down, allowing new Managing Director of WA and NT, Neil Dickson, to join the Board; while Chris Cusack, Managing Director of NSW and ACT, also joins, following consecutive years of growth and business development success for the NSW and ACT offices.

“Chris and Neil have great enthusiasm and commitment to grow our company in a changing landscape,” said Mr Corke, Group Managing Director. “They will guide our next generation of leaders into future.”

“The new Board has been strategically developed to capture all aspects of our business; advisory, quantity surveying, facilities management and project management, to regional and metropolitan experiences throughout Australia,” explained Mr Tanner.

“As part of our Group Vision for 2020, we are committed to enhancing our learning and development opportunities, with the creation of an Emerging Leaders Program and our already successful Cadet Program,” said Mr Corke.

“We are focused on increasing our breadth and diversity of experienced professionals, including female representation at all levels of the organisation. Having a highly talented woman who is familiar with the work we do, now on our Group Board, will be invaluable – from both a leadership and growth perspective.”

“Increasing our national sector strategy; embedding a national client program; developing our talent at all levels; and identifying strategic opportunities for us to increase our presence in emerging markets are key elements I would like to bring to the Board,” commented Mr Dickson.

“At Donald Cant Watts Corke we pride ourselves on our national strength, local knowledge and our relationships with our stakeholders. I hope to build on this solid foundation and bring a fresh approach and new thinking to ensure continued growth and adaptability to market trends and opportunities,” said Mr Cusack.

Donald Cant Watts Corke has grown significantly in recent years and diversified their services and sector offering, and continues to develop our national client repeat business.
