Reporting directly to the QS Director for Western Australia, this opportunity is for a Quantity Surveyor with up to of five years of experience.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Cost planning and estimating

  • Cost analysis and benchmarking

  • Value management

  • Undertake research in relation to prices for items

  • Preparation of Bills of Quantities, project cash flows and reports

  • Design option appraisal

  • Post contract cost control

  • Preparation of tender documentation

This is a multi-faceted, busy and challenging role that consists of a combination of autonomous and team work.

We are looking for an individual who has:

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to thrive under pressure and meet multiple, conflicting deadlines in calm professional manner, both autonomously and within a team environment

  • Technical cost planning, cost management and reporting skills

  • Ability to establish and grow exceptional working relationships with co-workers, clients and potential clients

  • Report writing abilities

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent attitude towards team work and the ability to motivate and support other team members

  • Independent worker who is able to work with minimal supervision

  • Outstanding negotiation, contract management and communication skills

  • Experience with CostX and BIM preferred

  • Relevant undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying and/or Construction Management

  • Up to five years of post graduate experience.

Marketing Communications specialist, Melbourne

We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Marketing Communications specialist to join our team in a full or part time capacity, to coordinate all of our external facing marketing communications and campaigns.

Reporting directly to the Group Head of Marketing, you will be involved in delivering outstanding results across a wide range of interesting projects. The role will see you work full time of over 30 hours (such as four days) per week in a way that fits with your lifestyle.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Development and execution of marketing campaigns and external communications
  • Use of traditional marketing and digital platforms to engage external audiences
  • Demand generation to support business unit growth objectives
  • Provision and copy writing of sales enabling collateral to enhance business development activities 
  • Market research and intelligence; industry and competitor analyses
  • Event coordination aligned with marketing campaigns and/or exposure at conferences
  • Media relations, including experience in writing press releases and editorial (optional).

With the scope to work both within a busy team environment, as well as autonomously when required, a flexible, energetic and proactive approach is a must. Your professionalism, specialist skills and ability to think on your feet will serve you well, as will your friendly and positive attitude.

We are looking for an individual who has:

  • An energetic and flexible approach
  • Highly developed digital marketing implementation skills, with a proven track record in the delivery of content campaigns
  • At least five years' experience in marketing in a B2B environment, preferably professional services
  • A tertiary qualification in communication and/or marketing and/or writing or a related discipline
  • Proven organisation and prioritisation skills; the ability to manage multiple, conflicting deadlines without getting flustered
  • Demonstrable attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
