DCWC appoints new Chairperson

Donald Cant Watts Corke (DCWC) welcomes Shane Tanner as Chairperson of the newly formed Group Board.

Glenn Corke, Managing Director DCWC, said he was thrilled to welcome Mr Tanner as the DCWC Group Board’s inaugural Chairperson.

“With the establishment of our new Group Board, the time is right for DCWC to welcome someone with Shane’s passion and skills”, said Mr Corke.

“His extensive experience, especially throughout the health and services sectors, and his demonstrable ability to boost company performance, will make him a welcome asset to our team.

“I look forward to working with the Board of DCWC, Glenn and the team to develop key strategies for both its people and businesses to ensure its substantial growth targets are met in the coming three years”, said Mr Tanner.

Mr Tanner was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of the Mayne Group (1994-1998) and the inaugural Chief Executive of Symbion Health (1998-2000), one of Australia’s leading providers of Pathology, Radiology and Primary Care Medical Services.

Since leaving the Mayne Group in 2000, has assisted in the establishment and restructuring of many companies in a number of industries in both listed and non-listed markets.

Mr Tanner will Chair DCWC’s new Group Board made up of Guy Sigston, Non-Executive Director, Glenn Corke, Group Managing Director, Alan Findlater, Managing Director Project Management VIC and Richard Archer, Managing Director WA.

The Group Board will be supported by an Executive Board, chaired by Annette Mercuri, Managing Director Strategic Planning and made up of Craig Ashworth, CFO, Suzanne Hevey, Marketing Director, Steve Williams, Managing Director NSW, Steve Loffman, Director WA, Stephen McCoullough, Managing Director Quantity Surveying VIC, Lloyd Goves, Managing Director Project Management QLD, Peter Edgcumbe, Director Engineering Services, Alex Feng, Director ACT and Mark Mammarella, Managing Director Quantity Surveying QLD.

 

DCWC appointed to CSIRO Black Mountain redevelopment

Tuesday 16 April 2013, Canberra –

DCWC today announces its appointment to CSIRO’s Black Mountain redevelopment project.

Rory Pincott, Group Director and Alex Feng, Director ACT will lead the cost planning services for the Masterplan, Preliminary Sketch Plan and PWC hearing in late 2013.

CSIRO will consolidate its Canberra accommodation from two leased sites in Canberra; Limestone Avenue, Campbell and Banks Street, Yarralumla, into the new building at Black Mountain.

The Master Plan of the Black Mountain Campus will be provide CSIRO with enough detail to obtain National Capital Authority (NCA) approval.

Both Rory and Alex are excited to deliver another project that sees the Victorian and ACT offices collaborating.
